Is Procter & Gamble Dead in the Water?

They say a rising tide lifts all boats. But the post-election rally seems to have missed Procter & Gamble (PG) - Get Report . The consumer giant ticked up just 1% in the days after the election as the Dow roared past 20,000. Even with that, nearly half of Wall Street experts say P&G is a buy. The other half says it is a hold. Only Goldman Sachs is slapping P&G stocks with a sell rating. 

Of course, if you bought P&G anytime in the last two years, selling now means getting out exactly where you got in, costing you time, if not money. Think this is the time to buy? Just know that P&G is several multiples more expensive than its consumer-staple peers. Add to that downside risk of 9%, Goldman said.
