Looking to bet on a solid snack stock this Halloween, but don't want to be long chocolate?
Looking to bet on a solid snack stock this Halloween, but don't want to be long chocolate? No one would blame you: Hershey's stock fell last week, when the chocolate maker reported dairy and cocoa costs bit into their top line. At least with Mondelez, there are a host of international offerings, from Oreos to Trident to satisfy sweet tooth-ed customers. To satisfy investors' sweet tooth, the company will have to soar back above its 2012 spin-out IPO price, or, better still, increase what is otherwise considered a conservative dividend.
