Investors Losing Appetite for Blue Apron Initial Public Offering

Meal kit company Blue Apron (APRN) - Get Report reduced the expected price of its initial public offering to about $10 per share. The price is well below the range of $15-17 the company disclosed just last week before Amazon (AMZN) - Get Report said it would buy Whole Foods (WFM) . Blue Apron will begin trading today at the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol APRN. Staples (SPLS) has agreed to sell itself to a private equity firm. Sycamore Partners said it would buy the office supply retailer for $6.9 billion. Sales and profit at Staples have fallen for each of the last 4 years. Portions of President Trump's travel ban will go into effect today. The ruling allows travel restrictions on some visitors from Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen. Airline stocks could react today and busy airports could see confusion as workers sort things out.
