Investors are coming to work today and seeing a Brexit bounce and a pound rebound. European stocks are higher along with the U.S. markets. The British pound is recovering after falling to a 31 year low Monday. All risk assets are higher, including oil and other commodities. Volkswagen is expected to announce a settlement with the nearly 500,000 U.S. diesel owners and government regulators over polluting vehicles is said to be valued at more than $15 billion in cash. The settlement will be announced today in Washington D.C. The deal is related to the automaker installing software in cars that allowed them to bypass emission laws. The $15 billion is the most expensive auto industry scandal in history. Nike (NKE) - Get Report  is scheduled to report earnings after the closing bell. Nike gets about 3% of its annual revenue from Britain so it may talk about the expected impact of Britain leaving the European Union. Nike will also likely share any expected boost from the summer Olympics.
