Investors Hold Onto Their Wallets Ahead of 'Brexit" Vote, Fed
Investors are getting more cautious as we await 2 key events happening later this month. One if the British vote on whether or note to leave the European Union, known as "Brexit'. The other big event is next week's Federal Reserve meeting. Meanwhile, government bonds in Japan, Germany and the United Kingdom notched new record low levels this morning. A shakeup of Viacom's (VIA) - Get Report board appears to be in the works. The Wall Street Journal says National Amusements, the holding company through which Sumner Redstone controls Viacom, has started the process of recruiting potential board members to the company. Buzzfeed Chairman Kenneth Lerer, Former Sony President Nicole Seligman and Former Obama Administration Official Judith McHale are being considered for the Viacom board. Solar installations over took all other energy sources in the United States so far this year. GTM Research and the Solar Energy Industries Association also say that solar is becoming more affordable.
