The Bank of England could cut interest rates following its policy meeting on Thursday, amid worries of a recession sparked by the June 23 Brexit vote. Antonia Oprita, a senior editor and columnist with Real Money, said Bank of England Governor Mark Carney may cut the UK's benchmark interest rate to 0.25 percent from 0.5 percent, though such a move could send inflation higher. Aside from the Bank of England, retailer Marks & Spencer holds its annual meeting on Tuesday. Investors will likely get some commentary on Brexit's impact on consumer spending.
