Investors Brace for ‘Brexit’ Fallout on Friday
On Friday, June 24, investors will grapple with the fallout from Thursday's potential Brexit and some important economic data. The UK decision is expected to be released on Friday morning. A 'Leave' vote could tank global stock markets and a 'Remain' vote may spark a relief rally. Aside from Brexit, durable goods orders for May are released at 8:30am Eastern. New orders are expected to slip 0.7 percent during the month. Consumer sentiment for June is unveiled at 10am and the weekly Baker Hughes BHI rig count is released at 1pm. The Finish Line (FINL) , an athletic clothing company, reports earnings on Friday, before the markets open. Analysts expect earnings of $0.22 a share on sales of $449 million.
