Shares of InterDigital have bounced back strongly over the past month because the market is finally concentrating on the company's fundamentals as opposed to its patent litigation, says the company's CEO William Merritt. Merritt says the company's handset licensing business has tremendous potential, even in China where the company is currently working its way through regulatory hurdles. Finally, Merritt says the next big thing in cellular technology will be the so-called "internet of things".
