Intel's Plans to Take Over 5G and VR

5G and virtual reality are two fields that Intel  (INTC) - Get Report  has frequently trumpeted as growth opportunities. At CES, Intel unveiled a 5G modem for test networks that delivers speeds above 5Gbps. Intel also announced Project Alloy, a platform for creating VR headsets. The VR headsets will be in production by year's end.
