Intel is reportedly so concerned about a potential Broadcom-Qualcomm tie up, that it may try to acquire Broadcom.
Intel (INTC) - Get Report is reportedly so concerned about a potential Broadcom (AVGO) - Get Report Qualcomm (QCOM) - Get Report tie up, that it may try to acquire Broadcom.
That's according to a report in The Wall Street Journal on Friday.
Kenny Polcari, managing director of O'Neil Securities isn't surprised about Intel's potential plans to throw a wrench into what would be the largest technology deal ever (Broadcom's acquisition of Qualcomm, which still awaits shareholder and regulatory approval.)
