The world's largest computer-chip manufacturer is looking to process orders from makers of phones, tablets, cars and other devices that can link to the web to cope with the company's dramatic plunge in April. The world’s largest computer-chip manufacturer reported a first-quarter loss of $929 million in its mobile and communications group as its sales fell a painful 61 percent to $156 million. The largest portion of Intel’s revenue comes from personal computers, a market shrinking amid the tablet and smartphone boom. After a slow introduction, the company is now aiming to have 15 to 20 percent of the tablet market this year.
