There's not much President-elect Donald Trump can do in the short term to create more jobs, says one economist.  Cary Leahey, chief U.S. economist with Decision Economics says even if he passes a large fiscal stimulus package next year, the impact from that won't kick in until the second half. Leahey says if Trump can add ten or fifteen thousand new jobs each month, that would be quite an achievement. He noted that a push toward infrastructure investment could lead to job gains in construction or manufacturing. The U.S. economy created 178,000 new jobs in November.
