The stock market has been on an 8-day winning streak, but if you missed out on the move higher, one strategists suggests waiting until August, a historically volatile month for stocks.

That's according to Nick Colas, co-founder of DataTrek Research.

"If you're thinking about where to allocate some capital because you want to invest for the longer term, do absolutely wait in our opinion because you're going to get better opportunities later in the year," he said.
