I drove Nissan's new mobility concept vehicle around New York City and it was super cool and a little scary. The vehicle is designed to be an option to using a scooter or bike in high density areas. It was designed by Nissan Future Lab, which researches ways to get us from point A to B faster and more efficiently. The vehicle handles like a full size car, and even jaded New Yorkers gave it a once over as I drove around Columbus Circle. Driving in the same lane as a New York city bus was a little nerve racking, but it was easy to dart around and I'm told parallel parking is a breeze. Truth be told, I'm not the best driver out there, so I didn't try that. Also, sorry NYPD, I ran a red light.
