ICOs for cryptocurrencies have been at a fever pitch for the last year. SEC regulations are making cryptocurrencies reevaluate before their ICOs. Cryptocurrencies are digital currencies that use encryption to secure transactions and regulate the creation of new units. Bitcoin was the first decentralized digital currency but other alternatives have popped up and are called AltCoin. The biggest question with cryptocurrencies are whether or not they will one day be able to replace money.
