A new survey shows growing concern among consumers over just how secure travel loyalty programs are. In light of the recent data breaches at JP Morgan Chase, Target and Home Depot, should you be worried that your travel information or loyalty points are at risk? According to Deloitte, 75% of respondents expect these programs to maintain the same security thresholds as financial institutions, yet just 33% believe travel reward programs are safe. Whether through a hotel or airline, consumers enter plenty of personal data, including contact information, travel preferences and sometimes credit card details. TheStreet's Scott Gamm reports.
