The "Notorious" Conor McGregor more than lives up to his nickname. Arguably the most recognizable UFC fighter of all time, McGregor has cashed in on his success in the Octogon. Forbes reported in 2019 that his net worth is about $120 million.
In his mid-twenties, he was making about $100 a fight—now, aged 31, he’s one of the wealthiest prize fighters of all time.
After a 15 month hiatus from the fight game, this Saturday, McGregor returns to the Octagon as he faces “Cowboy” Donald Cerrone in a welterweight fight at UFC 246. Reports indicate that McGregor is guaranteed $5 million from his fight with “Cowboy.”
In addition to the $5 million on average that he is guaranteed from UFC bouts, 90% of his income is from per-pay-view revenue attached to his fights. McGregor himself claims that he will earn $80 million from the fight, although these figures have not been confirmed. Fight fans are eager for his return and viewership from UFC 246 is expected to be robust.
McGregor has spent much of the last year launching and promoting his Proper No 12 Irish Whiskey brand. The whiskey is now available for sale in Ireland, the UK and the U.S. McGregor has claimed that its sales amount to $1 billion in its first year, but these numbers have not been confirmed.
All this considered, his total earnings are estimated to be $235 million with a net worth of $120 million.
