The company raised its top- and bottom-line guidance for the fourth quarter ending Feb. 2.Lululemon said it now expects earnings to range $2.22 to $2.25 a share, up from its previous view of $2.10 to $2.13.
According to estimates, Revenue should come in at $1.37 billion to $1.38 billion in the quarter, up from its previous view between $1.32 billion and $1.33 billion.
"I think it really is their brand appeal. I'm a big fan of Lulu, both the stock and the clothing. You know...Like I'll wear their clothes if I'm working out...They invented the athleisure trend. So they play well to both females and males and the males is where they're getting a lot of growth, whether it be from their shirts, the ABC pants that..millennials love wearing to work. You know, it's on the pricier side, if they can afford it, of course. They're just doing so well. I mean, we talked about this earlier. I think comps in the high, mid, somewhere in the teens percent, it's just so strong compared to what some other retailers are doing. So, really the question is when do you buy it? Because if you look at, if you go across like a three-year chart, there are just very few opportunities to really buy," said Jeff Marks, senior portfolio analyst with Action Alerts PLUS.
