One question accompanies every new Apple (AAPL) iPhone release: How are you going to pay for it?

Ahead of the release of the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus on September 22, Verizon (VZ) , T-Mobile (TMUS) and AT&T (T) have already announced promotions to help lessen the cost of the $699.99 iPhone 8 and $799.99 iPhone 8 Plus.

Verizon will offer $300 off an iPhone 8 or 8 Plus when you trade in a qualifying phone and sign up for unlimited service, and payments start at $29.17 per month for a two-year lease on the iPhone 8 and and $33.33 per month for the iPhone 8 Plus.

T-Mobile will offer a $300 discount if you trade in an iPhone 6 or a newer model that will be applied as a rebate on the iPhone 8 and iPhone X.

Breaking out from the pack, AT&T is offering a 32GB iPad for $99.99 when you sign a two-year contract for the iPhone 8 or 8 Plus.

Will similar discounts apply to the $999 iPhone X?
