Without much attention, over the last few years, Amazon (AMZN) - Get Report has vastly expanded its offerings of cloud apps designed with business productivity in mind. It recently released a Chime app, which stands to compete with Microsoft's (MSFT) - Get Report Skype for Business. With a free basic and $2.50 per user per month, plus versions available, the application is far from Amazon's first use of a software-as-a-service (SaaS) subscription model. Other services, including file-sharing and data-visualization software, undercut Alphabet (GOOGL) - Get Report , Box (BOX) - Get Report , Tableau DATA, VMware (VMW) - Get Report and others.
