With Carl Icahn stepping down from his informal advisory role on regulatory reform to President Donald Trump after just a few months, he's bound to have more time for the activism that has made him notorious. So who is the broker behind the billionaire? 

After entering the Wall Street scene back in 1961 as a broke and eventually starting his own firm, Icahn built himself a reputation of being a 'corporate raider' with takeover targets that have including U.S. Steel (X) - Get Report , Mylan (MYL) - Get Report , and many more.
