Home Depot Names Craig Menear Its New CEO to Succeed Frank Blake
Home improvement retailer Home Depot announced that it's naming current president of U.S. retail, Craig Menear, its new president and CEO, succeeding Frank Blake.
Home improvement retailer Home Depot announced that it's naming current president of U.S. retail, Craig Menear, its new president and chief executive officer, succeeding Frank Blake. According to Home Depot, Menear, who was named to his current position in February, is a 34-year retail veteran and a key leader in the company's success. In addition to his role as chief merchant, Home Depot says he's overseen the company's supply chain efforts, its online and private brand businesses and its marketing and global sourcing. Menear will take over effective November 1. Blake will stay on as chairman of the company.
