Home Depot and Infineon Technologies - Earnings Round-Up
Home Depot Inc. (HD) - Get Report reported third-quarter earnings of $1.84 a share, topping forecasts by 2 cents. Revenue of $25.03 billion also topped Wall Street estimates.
Infineon (IFNNY) , which supplies chips for Apple Inc.'s (AAPL) - Get Report iPad, said adjusted earnings for the three months ending in September fell 20% from the same period last year to €0.16 per share while revenues grew 9% to €1.82 billion. However, the group said it sees 2018 fiscal year revenue growth of around 9% and noted it will propose a 13.3% increase in its annual dividend, taking it to €0.25 per share.
Vodafone VOD said adjusted first half earnings came in at €7.39 billion, up 13% from the same period last year and firmly ahead of the Factset consensus of €7.08 billion. Revenues for the six months ending in September fell 4.1% to €23.1 billion. The group also lifted its full-year earnings growth guidance to around 10%, indicating a range of €14.75 billion and €14.95 billion, up from a previous forecast of 4.8% growth.
Earnings reports are also expected Tuesday from Dick's Sporting Goods Inc. (DKS) - Get Report , TJX Cos. (TJX) - Get Report and Advance Auto Parts Inc. (AAP) - Get Report .
