Hiring Our Heroes President Reveals Job Search Tips for Veterans
Hiring Our Heroes, an affiliate of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, aims to help servicemembers and their families find employment opportunities.
"These young men and women have tremendous talent," said Eric Eversole, vice president at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and president of Hiring Our Heroes, adding that his organization has worked with companies like Starbucks (SBUX) - Get Report , Amazon (AMZN) - Get Report and Toyota Motor (TM) - Get Report to secure employment opportunities for veterans.
Justin Constantine, Lieutenant Colonel, US Marine Corps (Ret) said the unemployment rate for servicemembers has been falling, but more progress needs to be made on employment opportunities for military spouses and wounded warriors.
