Hillary Clinton maintains her lead over Senator Bernie Sanders and the rest the Democratic presidential candidates, according to polling data. A CBS News poll released on October 11 shows Clinton with 46 percent of the vote and Bernie Sanders at 27%. Vice President Joe Biden hasn't even entered the race yet, but is still polling relatively well at 16%. Jim Webb polled at 2 percent, while Martin O'Malley and Lincoln Chafee registered at less than 0.5 percent in the polls. Both candidates are banking on Tuesday's first presidential debate to boost their weak poll numbers. Analysts say the economic issues are expected to attract the most attention in the debate.
