Hillary Clinton Holds Commanding Lead Over Bernie Sanders in Latest Polls
Democratic presidential front runner Hillary Clinton holds a significant lead over Senator Bernie Sanders in the latest national polls and important primary states.
Democratic presidential front runner Hillary Clinton holds a significant lead over Senator Bernie Sanders in the latest national polls and important primary states. Clinton has 51 percent of the vote, compared to 40 percent for Sanders, according to the national Real Clear Politics Average. Meanwhile, Florida and Ohio hold primaries on March 15th. In Florida, Clinton maintains 57.8 percent of the vote, while Sanders has just 32.3 percent. In Ohio, Clinton maintains 55 percent while Sanders has 37 percent of the vote. So far, Clinton has 1,134 delegates, more than double the 499 Sanders has. Some 2,383 are needed to clinch the Democratic nomination. TheStreet’s Scott Gamm reports from Wall Street.
