Are you ready for retirement?

If you're in your 20's, the answer is probably not, but now is the time to start saving.

Robert Powell, who writes for TheStreet's Retirement Daily, sat down with Real Money's Kevin Curran and TheStreet's Tony Owusu to discuss retirement.

Owusu asked about what millennials should know about retirement investing.

Powell, AKA Mr. Retirement, answered that many people tend to put a little bit of money into each fund. However, he notes that that is actually not the right way to do it.

His advice? Those who aren't investing-savvy should use a target date fund.

Powell explained what a target-date fund is and why he believes that the younger generations should invest their money into one.

It's never too late -- or too early -- to plan and invest for the retirement you deserve.
