On the earnings front, we note quarterly financial results from Best Buy Co Inc (BBY), Dollar Tree (DLTR), Aeropostale Inc (ARO), Gap Inc. (GPS), Intuit (INTU), and Hewlett-Packard Co (HPQ). Hewlett Packard is the world's second-largest personal computer vendor by revenue. The company is scheduled to report its second-quarter earnings after the market closes. Last quarter, the company saw some positives from its recent cost cutting initiatives.
