September is usually a bad month for stocks, but this year may be different, thanks to presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, according to one analyst. 'If you look at the past 100 years you see that in an election year, normally the Dow Jones Industrial Average bottoms in May and then goes into a rally which last into the end of the year,' said Jochen Stanzl, chief market analyst at CMC Markets, based in Frankfurt. 'September could be very volatile but in the end could prove to be a positive month again.' TheStreet's Scott Gamm reports from Wall Street.
