Shares of Hasbro (HAS) - Get Report jumped on Monday after the toy company posted top- and bottom-line beats for the 2016 third quarter. Earnings of $2.03 a share topped analysts' estimates of $1.74 a share. Revenue rose 14% to $1.68 billion year-over-year, which also surpassed the analyst's forecasts. The company said revenue growth in the girls and games category offset declines in the boys and preschool categories. Strong demand for Disney Princesses, Frozen and Trolls dolls drove sales in the girls category to $462 million, up 57% year-over-year.
