The Brexit vote isn't the only reason why the Bank of Japan decided to leave rates unchanged on Thursday. 'I think they're starting to realize their fire for effect is decreasing,' said Ian Winer, head of equity trading at Wedbush Securities, based in Los Angeles. 'They're using the Brexit as an excuse to wait and probably come up with more stimulus in the July meeting.' The Bank of Japan left key interest rates at minus 0.1 percent. No additional easing measures were announced. The yen surged to a 22-month high against the dollar. TheStreet's Scott Gamm reports from Wall Street.
