Here’s a Look at Tesla’s $35,000 Model 3 Sedan
Tesla unveiled its Model 3 sedan on Thursday night.
Tesla (TSLA) - Get Report unveiled its Model 3 sedan on Thursday night. Priced at $35,000, the middle market electric car is set to compete with BMW's 3 series and the Audi A4. 'Even if you buy it, no options at all, this will still be an amazing car,' said Tesla CEO Elon Musk. 'You will not be able to buy a better car for $35,000.' Preorders for the Model 3, which is set to be available in late 2017, have already exceeded 130,000. The car runs 215 miles on each charge and can accelerate from zero to 60 miles per hour in less than 6 seconds. Shares of Tesla lost 4.3 percent since the start of the year.
