Broadcom's (AVGO) - Get Report $105 billion bid for Qualcomm (QCOM) - Get Report makes sense, according to Keith Bliss, sr. vice president at Cuttone & Company, based on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange.

"I think your going to see more merger activity in the chipmaker [space]," said Bliss. "It was only a short time ago where the PC was the focal point for everything that we did in our computing culture and now everything we do is on a 6-inch device."
