Here Is What to Expect From Kroger's Investor Day as Amazon and Walmart Loom

Investors will be watching how Kroger (KR) - Get Report defines its digital strategy at its investor day on Wednesday as competition from Amazon (AMZN) - Get Report and Walmart (WMT) - Get Report loom.

That's the assessment from TheStreet's Brian Sozzi, who pointed to the 40% decline in Kroger's stock price so far this year. 

Amazon's merger with Whole Foods also adds competition for Kroger, as Amazon slashed Whole Foods prices.
