With the Nasdaq flirting with record highs, private equity firms such as Blackstone (BX) - Get Report and Apollo Global Management (APO) - Get Report have filed for IPOs for companies they are looking to exit. "If you look at the performance of tech IPOs, you've seen this surge over the last three months and over the year as a whole, they are significantly outperform the IPO market," said Michael Ingram, a market analyst with BGC Partners in London.
