A Hillary Clinton victory would likely hurt the health care and financials sectors, while a Trump win may cause headwinds for multinationals, amid the potential for further strengthening in the dollar and how trade policy may be altered. That's the assessment from Carol Schleif, deputy chief investment officer at Abbot Downing. "Whoever ends up in residence at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue is going to have a pretty disgruntled electorate to try to bring along and I think markets will react to some of that," she said. "If we do see a decline [in stocks after the election], I think we'll most likely look at how to re-position into that decline." TheStreet's Scott Gamm reports from Wall Street.
