McDonald's (MCD) - Get Report shares will end 2016 (barring a shocking pre-announcement this week of a $0.90 a share fourth-quarter earnings beat) with the unhealthy distinction of being a laggard on the Dow Jones Industrial Average. At around $123, shares of the fast-food giant have increased 4% or so year to date, worse than the Dow's 11% rise.
