Herbalife Reportedly Subject of Federal Law Enforcement Inquiries

Herbalife (HLF) has reportedly been the subject of some recent federal inquiries regarding its business practices. Several Herbalife members were contacted by federal law enforcement agencies last week, according to CNBC, which said the agencies are focusing on the activities of about ten of Herbalife's top members. The company has reportedly offered members assistance in obtaining legal counsel. Their identities and what law enforcement asked them have not been disclosed. As shares of Herbalife slipped in Monday trading, CNBC reported that the company's largest shareholder, William Stiritz, said he has no plans to exit his position or make any major changes to it.
