Sony needs to be transparent with their customers, employees and public to get through its hacking crisis, said Robert Owen Carr, CEO of Heartland Payment Systems.
Sony needs to be transparent with their customers, employees and public to get through its hacking crisis, said Robert Owen Carr, CEO of Heartland Payment Systems and author of 'Through the Fires'. Carr faced similar pressures when his company had a security breach in 2008. He said he brought end-to-end encryption to the marketplace a short time after and helped establish a council with his competitors to share information about hack attacks. Carr added that Apple Pay will help left his business in 2015 because it is highly secure and offers consumers another payment option.
