Hawaiian Airlines Tops United States Airlines At On-Time Arrivals

Hawaiian Airlines leads the list of U.S. carriers with on-time performance for the month of September, getting to the gate in a timely fashion for 90.8% of its flights. It was followed in the top five by Alaska Airlines, 87.2%; JetBlue Airways, 86.1%; AirTran Airways, 86% and Delta Air Lines, 85.7%. They were followed by the second five, including U.S. Airways, 84.09%, Virgin America, 84.1%, American Airlines, 81,1%, Sky West, 81.1% and Frontier Airlines at 80.9%. The federal government counts a flight as on-time if it arrives within 14 minutes of schedule. TheStreet's Scott Gamm reports from New York.
