Harvey Weinstein Fired:

The board of the Weinstein Company told Harvey he was fired in an email last night, according to the New York Times. The powerful Hollywood Producer was ousted after several reports of sexual harassment going back decades.

Walmart is Speeding Returns Up:

Walmart (WMT) - Get Report  is promising 30 second returns in stores. It says, if you use its new app, you can speed up returns on items bought in the store and online. Walmart says refunds will be credited as soon as the next day with its Mobile Express returns app.

Nobel Prize in Economics Awarded:

University of Chicago economist Richard Thaler has won the Nobel Prize in Economics. He has done a lot of work in behavioral economics that has shaped that field, including a study on why New Year's Resolutions are so hard to keep. Earnings begin this week, with banks in focus.

SpaceX Launching Satellites Today:

Private space company SpaceX is scheduled to launch 10 satellites into space today. It's Columbus Day, the U.S. stock market is open but the bond market, banks and federal offices are closed.
