The housing market should explode come springtime because the harsh winter is creating a huge pent-up demand among potential buyers, says Anthony Hsieh, CEO of loanDepot. Nevertheless, Hsieh says home affordability will be a little tougher in the coming months as home prices have risen with the improving economy and mortgage rates are expected to rise as the Federal Reserve tapers its bond purchases.
