Gov. McAuliffe: Hillary Still Undecided, Midterms Will Be Rough
Governor of Virginia and former DNC Chair, Terry McAuliffe, says the 2014 midterm elections will be challenging for democrats in the Senate but that some gubernatorial races may go in their favor. McAuliffe said, 'I think we're going to win Pennsylvania and Florida. I think we're going to win Michigan and Maine.' From his perspective, McAuliffe says democrats are having a challenging time conveying to the American people that the economy is doing better. 'I think the idea of communicating what you get done when you have democrats in office and growing and diversifying the economy, I think they need to do a better job of that.' As for Secretary Clinton, McAuliffe says she's not going to seriously consider a 2016 run for president 'until the midterms are over.' McAuliffe says Clinton will consider, 'Can I solve the problems in America today? Can I move this nation forward? Can I help close this income inequality that we have today?'
