Google's Acquisition of Nest Closes the Loop on the Smart Home

Google's acquisition of Nest completes the circle of connectivity. Google Glass was already able to speak to cars like the Mercedes Benz, so extending that reach to Nest completes the loop. Other smart home companies like Control4Home also work with many mobile devices to keep the inter-connectivity loop complete. Control4Home works with 7500 different devices and recently partnered with Tivo to connect home to phone to TV. The idea is to have a complete connection between car, home and phone.
