Google, Starbucks, GM Earnings: What to Watch on Wall Street April 23
For Thursday, April 23rd, we outline the notable earnings and key economic data to watch. It's another day packed with big earnings reports. We get quarterly financial results from PepsiCo Inc (PEP), 3M Co (MMM), Dow Chemical Co (DOW), Procter & Gamble Co (PG), General Motors Company (GM), Starbucks Corp (SBUX), Google (GOOGL), Amazon.com Inc (AMZN) and Microsoft Corp (MSFT). The search engine giant is expected to report first-quarter revenue slightly below expectations. Last quarter, Google delivered paid-clicks growth that fell short of analysts' estimate. TheStreet's Jim Cramer says Google has a big European exposure, and expects a shortfall from Europe due to currency. But, he expects Google to figure out a way to monetize its business, such as YouTube, in the future.
