Google's Annual Developer Conference Focuses on Apps

Google (GOOGL) - Get Alphabet Inc. Report held their annual developer conference on Wednesday and apps took center stage for the event. In particular, the company focused heavily on its digital assistant, which will be debuting new features, such as the ability to use it to complete transactions, over the coming months. However, one of the biggest announcements was that Google Assistant will shortly be available on iPhone. This move will allow Google to fight Apple at its own game and in its own backyard. Google Assistant debuted in 216 on Android devices and has been rolled out to other devices using Google's operating system.
