Alphabet's (GOOGL) - Get Report Google Chrome is looking to roll out an ad blocker, sources told the Wall Street Journal. It would be available as a default setting for desktop and mobile. However Google gets a majority of its revenue from advertisements.

Google said, "we do not comment on rumors or speculation."

Journal's sources said that the plan could be either rolled out or scrapped in the upcoming weeks.
