Google (GOOG) is set to unveil a wireless service, perhaps today. The big deal here is that Google's service would allow users to pay for only data they use, unlike prepackaged data plans that expire at the end of each month. A 2013 study by Validas found that smartphone users typically waste $28 a month on unused wireless data. Yahoo showed growth in mobile advertising but costs rose faster than mobile ads so results missed estimates. Yahoo posted net income of $21 million dollars, down sharply from a year ago CEO Marissa Mayer has hired advisors to consult on Yahoo Japan. Chipotle Mexican Grill saw its first quarter of sales above $1 billion dollars.
