Goldman Sachs & Co. hasn't outperformed banking sector stalwarts like Wells Fargo over the last 12 months -- and after one analyst pitched breaking up JP Morgan, some sector watchers wondered if it could be time for the investment bank to sell a part of itself, instead. Today's Chart of the Day has only posted gains of 4 percent over the last 12 months, but sector stocks could get a rise if low interest rates foster friendly lending and trading revenues come back online. Analysts are roughly expecting a match to last year's $4.60 EPS for the quarter, but a turbulent fourth quarter has put banks' revenue in question.
