Just one day after General Motors reported its best November auto sales in seven years, MotorTrend named the company's Chevrolet Colorado its 2015 Truck of the Year. By unanimous vote, Motor Trend-editor-in chief Edward Loh said the Colorado best met the award's key criteria -- beating out competitors like the Ford Transit, which came in second, and the all-new Ford F-150, which came in third. Loh cited the Colorado's value, aesthetic, engineering capabilities and handling among the reasons it ranked so highly. General Motors chief executive Mary Barra applauded the team that developed the truck for understanding the customer, and then designing, engineering and building the vehicle to meet customers' needs.
